Based upon Acts 1:8 “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
SCNC is involved in the following ministries:
Every Wednesday @ 6:00PM please join us at either Prayer Group at the Church (2nd, 3rd, and 4th Wednesdays) for a time of corporate and private prayer, and Outreach Group at Oakland Manor @6:30PM to minister to the residents of the facility through worship, prayer, and crafts. All ages are welcome.
Every Sunday @ 3pm the Upper Room located in Westminster, MD gives a gospel centered worship service and provides a meal for the homeless.
We hold a periodic Drive-thru prayer event throughout the year. This allows for us to connect with the community and lift up requests to Jesus.
Every year we collect and send Crisis Care Kits to the Fawn Grove Compassion Center in Fawn Grove, PA. These kits are used when natural disasters happen all over the world including in the U.S.
A group of women come together to study God’s Word. They are working through the Book of Esther. To be involved please contact us or join them on Thursdays @ 1pm.
The Men’s group meets on Zoom on Mondays @6:30pm.
Both the men’s and women’s groups hold month fellowship events like lunches, ax throwing, parties, bowling, etc.
