Pastor Tamara Adams

Tamara Adams has been the Lead Pastor of South Carroll since February, 2023 after leading as the Interim Pastor. She previously pastored another church in Maryland and served as associate as well. She has earned a Bachelor’s Degree (UMBC), and a Masters in Pastoral Care and Counseling (Wesley Seminary). She is certified to help families with StrengthsFinders Coaching, along with Symbis Marriage counseling. She is currently pursuing a Doctoral degree in Spiritual Formation and Discipleship (Nazarene Theological Seminary). Tamara is originally from Long Island, NY and then St. Augustine, Florida and loves the beach, movies, eating with friends and anything adventurous. She has been married to Michael for the past 28 years, who is an electrical engineer. They have four children, Caleb, Simon, Gabe and Nathaniel, who continue to stay close by when not busy with their own lives. Tamara also teaches Bible, Biology and Math at The Lamb of God School (Halethorpe, MD) serving middle schoolers and their families. She continues to support outreach causes in her free time, along with being passionate about teaching the church to intersect their lives with one another.
